From the 1st of October 2007, the laws regarding airsoft guns have changed for the UK. This is a brief summary of those changes.
If you are under 18 years of age, it is now illegal for you to buy an airsoft gun or any other replica firearm. It will also be illegal for anyone to sell one to you, whether you are a skirmisher or not.
Over 18s will have to prove that they are airsoft skirmishers. They can do this by taking out membership of an airsoft site which holds third-party liability insurance. In order to enable online sales, UKARA the retailers organisation, has set up a database to which sites can submit their members details. Once a player is verified & on the database any UKARA member can quickly check that a purchaser is a member entitled to buy an airsoft gun, non membership will require additional information and may delay your order.
Airsoft skirmishers, Military reinactment group members, film/TV production, theatres and museums are the only groups awarded an official exemption within the VCR Bill.

Despite the restrictions introduced in the VCRA 2006, it is still legal to sell an airsoft gun to anyone over the age of 18 years providing its principle colour is sufficiently different from that of a real firearm.

The quality of the 2-Tone range is AT LEAST as good as the original specification airsoft guns we have been supplying.
We managed to iron out some of the little problems that were experienced with the realistic coloured versions: AGM M14 battery wiring has now been corrected, the D-Boys motors and motor wiring faults have been addressed, we contracted most of the 2-Tones to be injection moulded instead of painted so the quality would be exactly the same.
Please note: Under Section 36 of the V.C.R. Act it is a criminal offence to alter the appearance of an imitation firearm to make it into a realistic imitation firearm. Our interpretation of this Act is that even painting one of these guns would contravene the Act.
